"I didn’t feel like “woh, I am so encouraged, God gave me such a oomph!” after CG tonight. But what matters is, I didn’t feel I am in this on my own, I felt that my CG mates are with me in this together. For that alone, I thank Jesus. Fellowship is a powerful gift from God. It is the core of how Abba created us: it is about relationships. I am not “happy Hee haa” tonight, but I am overwhelmed by how HE sets us up to support each other in our ‘trying’ moments. I saw how big He is today in our lives."

"You may set out to make a sculpture and find that time is your material. You may pick up a paintbrush and find that your making is not on canvas or wood but in relations between people. You may set out to walk across the room, but getting to what is on the other side might take 10 years. You have to be open to all possibilities and to all routes - circuitous or otherwise."

- Ann Hamilton, “Making Not Knowing”

"The problem with today’s classroom is the lack of a good classroom experience. While there are students making a fool of themselves; being rowdy and without self management; there are others who genuinely want to learn and are robbed of a conducive environment. While the teacher can do whatever he/she can to practice good “classroom management”, we must understand the world now is a “highly stimulated” world, and unfortunately, the classroom fails to provide the stimulation that some students are so used to from birth. It takes a rockstar to grab the attention of these ‘stimulant hungry’ kids. Unfortunately, not all teachers are rock star material. I wanna be a rockstar. SERIOUSLY."
